| Materials | Your instructor will recommend lesson books for you to purchase at your local music retailer or online retailer. |
| Instrument | You will need your own instrument for your lessons and for your practice at home. An inexpensive example of a simple practice pad is here: practice pad. A pad is a great way for to start your instrument purchase. Your instructor will recommend more percussion instruments as your skill level increases or to match the needs of your current skill level. Your instructor does have his/her own instruments, however, your instructor cannot set up and tear down a full drumkit or bring instruments to lesson. |
